DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES| About the role

As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible for:
  • As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible for:
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with your vendor(s), as well as with new and existing resellers;
  • Knowing your vendor(s) inside and out; you are the main point of contact for your vendor(s) and maintain an optimal relationship with all contacts within your vendor(s);
  • Continuously improving your product and subject-matter expertise;
  • Creating and executing vendor business plans, and reporting on a regular basis both internally and to your vendor(s);
  • Following up and managing projects and quotations together with the Internal Sales team and Channel Account Managers; you are ultimately responsible for an accurate and up-to-date forecast;
  • Designing and executing commercial actions; these can include events, workshops, trainings, promotions, newsletter content, etc. Using your creative mindset and in collaboration with the Marketing team, you develop original concepts to engage current and potential resellers and explore new markets.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE| About you

The idealBusiness Development Manager:
  • Is located near one of our Exclusive Networks offices in the Nordics (Solna, Hellerup, Fornebu or Espoo);
  • Has a good command of English. Knowledge of one of the local Nordic languages (Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, or Danish) is a strong advantage.
  • Is able to build and lead a virtual team;
  • Is a true relationship manager and a motivated, enthusiastic team player;
  • Has a strong interest in cybersecurity and cloud (or is highly passionate about it);
  • Has experience in the distribution industry or is eager to take their first steps in it;
  • Is passionate about storytelling and presenting;
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office tools;
  • Holds a valid category B driving licence.
