We're looking for a Business Controller to join us at Telia

We are looking for an experienced Business Partner with strong skills in reporting, planning and financial analysis to join our Corporate Business Control organization within Group Finance at Telia Company. The focus will be on quality and accuracy of both external and internal financial reporting for Telia Company Group, actuals and plan, including cash flow management. You will also play a crucial role in an ongoing exciting journey to develop efficient planning processes and refine financial steering to realize our financial ambitions and deliver on shareholders' expectations.

What you'll do:

This is a role as a Business Partner within our Corporate Business Control function. You will play a crucial role in supporting strategic decision-making, ensuring strong financial control and delivering insights into our group-level performance. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and various business units across Telia. The agenda is broad, dealing with tasks within financial reporting and planning as well participating in strategic assignments that drive value to internal stakeholders. You will act in a complex environment with many moving parts, but this is something that we trust you embrace and are inspired by.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

· Ensuring accuracy of financial reporting, both internal and external, to secure consistency and transparency of the Group results

· Performance of financial analysis to assess business performance across various business units, identify opportunities and highlight risks

· Responsibility for taking the Group planning and forecast process to the next level, to increase its accuracy, efficiency and value add

· Establish relationship with stakeholders in operations to gain deeper understanding of the businesses from a commercial perspective

· Collaborate with other finance teams to improve financial processes, routines and tools

· Share knowledge and insights within the team and participate in strategic projects to increase value creation from Group Finance

Your Experience:

· University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field

· 5+ years of experience in business control, financial planning, audit or consulting

· Solid track record from working with Group Business Control in a multinational or telecom environment is a merit

· Strong command in English language, one of the Nordic languages is a plus

· Ability to have a proactive rather than reactive approach to work

· Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, knowledge of SAP is an advantage

· You enjoy working in a fast changing, dynamic environment with the ability to handle multiple topics simultaneously
