Assignment description

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will lead and support the Manufacturing Engineering pre-study team. In this role, you guide the work together with other BAs to ensure effective processes, ways of working and the required Teamcenter configurations in line with Siemens' out-of-the-box principles. You participate actively in discussions on process, concepts and solution design, capturing business needs and helping shape the configuration through an iterative process of solution work and demos.

You will collaborate with SMEs, other BAs and a Teamcenter configuration specialist, contributing to the foundation for future cross-domain engineering collaboration. The initial focus is to integrate Manufacturing Engineering more closely with Engineering within Teamcenter and introduce MBOM/BOP and BOE according to Siemens' best practices. You also take the lead in relevant demo sessions throughout the work. Work is remote.

Qualifications:

You have senior-level experience using Teamcenter for Manufacturing Engineering, including MBOM, BOP, BOE and structure alignment.

You have a proven ability to take a leading role in workshops and drive progress.

You have experience from industries with similar manufacturing workflows and a strong understanding of those processes.

You communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.

You are comfortable working in agile environments with fast iterations and quick decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

You serve as the dedicated BA within the Manufacturing Engineering pre-study team.

You collaborate daily with the team to secure steady progress.

You drive the work to review and refine the latest output from the End-to-End Ideate-to-Retire process together with the process owners.

You lead the team's efforts to study and understand Siemens' EasyPlan documentation and how Manufacturing Engineering is intended to operate in Teamcenter.

You guide the team in shaping processes and solutions in Teamcenter, including how structures should be documented to efficiently use Siemens' out-of-the-box configuration. This includes Change Management across Engineering, Manufacturing and Service BOMs, starting with introducing EBOM-MBOM/BOP/BOE alignment based on static logic.

You ensure collaboration with the other pre-study teams for AfterMarket and Variability Management, and support the stepwise introduction of Variability Management within Manufacturing Engineering, leading towards future Teamcenter-SAP collaboration with configurable structures.
