Are you a top talent with a passion for business development, consumer marketing and brand management? Do you want to develop your business skills and work with the well-known and loved Arla Cheese brands in the Swedish market? We are now seeking an exceptional business savvy Brand & Category Development Manager to drive our ambitious agenda for the market leading Cheese business in Sweden. You will be part of the Swedish marketing organization, reporting to the Senior Category Manager of Yellow Cheese, Cooking Cheese & Cream Cheese in Sweden.

How you will make an impact

You will initiate, drive and implement the plans contributing to building growth for your brands and the category. Your responsibility includes securing pipeline for future growth as well as in year performance of your brands and category.

  • Be the category and brand champion by mobilizing market-, customer- and consumer insights to fully leverage ambitious category and brand growth strategies & plans.
  • Champion creativity & brand equity building through both ATL and BTL communication - e.g. brand positioning, clear briefing and efficient media planning.
  • Own and drive a strategic & tactical agenda that will fuel the business and category growth - e.g. P&L optimisation, Portfolio management, Price guidelines, NPD pipeline.
  • Lead NPD projects from insights to execution and secure successful GTM - i.e. own BC, lead the project through stage gate decision making, own execution plan & monitor performance.
  • Be on top of your category/brand performance and provide action based recommendation across the organization to continuously improve KPIs.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams across Arla Foods functions to ensure effective delivery and support.

What will make you successful
  • We believe you have a Bachelor or Master degree in e.g. Business Administration / Marketing or equivalent
  • We imagine you have minimum 5 years of experience from brand-, category and sales management roles within FMCG
  • You have solid experience in how to build brands and categories
  • You have a commercial mindset and a genuine thrive to lead business growth
  • You are a strategic doer, who visualizes the big picture and "sleeve up" to deliver results
  • You use consumer insights and shopper data as a base for decision making - you have usage experience from shopper data tools such as AC Nielsen, ICA Kundinsikt, etc.
  • You are proficient in Swedish and English

As a person, you have an entrepreneurial mindset and thrives working independently to drive the business agenda. You are a strong collaborator with experience from cross functional collaboration in complex matrix organizations, and you are strong in self-leadership and creating clear directions.
