Edgy Systems is building the next generation of energy management software - integrating solar PV, batteries, heat pumps, and other distributed energy resources (DERs) into a unified platform for installers and building owners. Our mission is to make clean energy assets work together seamlessly, bridging operations and grid optimization.

We're looking for amotivated engineering internto help us develop the first version of our platform. This is a hands-on role combiningbackend developmentandDevOps/cloud engineering- ideal for someone who loves learning, building fast, and solving real problems.

What you'll do

• Develop backend services in Python (FastAPI) and data pipelines for time-series and asset data.
• Implement connectors to APIs and protocols (Victron, MQTT, Modbus, etc.).
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, Docker images, and basic monitoring.
• Contribute to authentication, API performance, and scalability.

What we're looking for

• A university student who can sign an internship agreement.
• Experience or interest in Python, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Curiosity for clean energy and digital solutions.
• A builder mindset: someone who enjoys taking ownership and learning by doing.
