About the roleWe are seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager to join our team in Stockholm. In this role, you will oversee key accounting operations and ensure accuracy and compliance across financial processes. Our team values collaboration and mutual support, creating a positive and professional environment where we work together to achieve shared goals. In this role, you will be responsible for the accounting operations of our Swedish and Norwegian entities. Your work will cover a wide range of accounting tasks, including managing weekly supplier payments and overseeing cash flow planning. You will also handle key NetSuite processes related to the chart of accounts, foreign currency revaluation, and period closing.
What you'll do
- Plan and prepare for daily meetings during the month-end close process.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
- Ensure accurate recording of salaries, social charges, and vacation accruals.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and oversee the financial management of company assets.
- Conduct VAT reconciliations and submit reports to relevant tax authorities.
- Prepare and manage intercompany transactions and invoicing, including reconciliations and payments.
- Act as Super User for the Adra suite.
- Approve salary and vendor payments in accordance with internal controls.
- Manage accounting periods and the chart of accounts, including currency revaluations.
- Provide support to other finance functions in accounting-related procedures.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as auditors and accounting partners when required.
Who you are
We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is a requirement. Previous experience working with NetSuite is an advantage. Experience in an international environment is also considered a plus.
