Schibsted Marketing Services (SMS) is our nordic advertising organization, representing some of the strongest brands across Norway and Sweden - like VG, FINN and Aftenspoten in Norway, and Aftonbladet, SvD and Blocket in Sweden. Advertising plays a central role for the common News Media strategy and our goal is to strengthen the advertising position across our markets.

As a member of our Platform Operations team, you will be working closely with our product teams to help solve problems for our internal customers. You will work in a team that handles a range of internal solutions, including our Advertising products and our Data Platform. This role will report to the Platform Operations Lead.

To succeed in this role, you need to combine technical competency with communication and problem-solving skills. A key to our success is that we are service-oriented, motivated and competent colleagues that enjoy helping and solving problems for all the different teams across Schibsted.

The colleague we are looking for is a person who has experience with support work and enjoys resolving technical issues. The position will be located in Oslo or Stockholm.

  • Help onboard new sites to our products
  • Responsibility for our daily support service by solving support tickets and following up on tickets delegated to other team members
  • Documenting all support cases and making sure this documentation is available throughout the organization
  • Reporting on our support status at appropriate intervals to our tech leads and flagging any cases that need closer attention
  • Improving and developing our internal documentation (our "Wiki") in order to minimize our future support needs
  • Handle third-line support communication, either with end-users or other Schibsted clients
  • Following up all incidents that require manual attention
  • Acquire a thorough understanding for our platforms from both a user's perspective and our client's perspective
  • Working closely with our technical developers, product managers and other teams within Ad Platform.
  • Service minded and a good problem solver
  • Easy going, structured and comfortable with dealing with numerous cases and tickets, without losing anything out of your sight
  • Excellent communication skills, both English and Norwegian or Swedish, written and spoken
  • You enjoy a busy and ever-changing workday
  • Interest in technical issues and experience with technical support
