UI Designer

We help e-commerce by leveraging machine learning and powerful proprietary research-based technology to provide convenient and fast e-commerce deliveries same day or as fast as within the hour. We're currently in need of a UI designer that has the drive and ambition to create world-leading designs for retailers, logistics providers and consumers to set a new standard in last-mile deliveries. What are we looking for? We are looking for a talented and passionate UI Designer. This role offers a unique opportunity for a designer to bring in industry standards and creative design thinking to define the patterns and practices, evolve the current design, and be part of the Airmee team that is setting the standard for the next generation of delivery experience. This role is broad in its scope, since we need someone that can design everything from apps to websites and powerpoint presentations and marketing materials. You will be talking to all our stakeholders: e-commerce retailers, couriers, customer support, dispatch, sales people and others in order to figure out the best solutions and designs. You are no stranger to operating in fast-moving environments and rolling up your sleeves to get the things done. We’re building the next great logistics platform, and we need world-class talent to achieve our vision. What will you be doing? - Create UI designs for both existing products and new concepts - Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders - Present, illustrate and motivate designs to internal stakeholders and customers - Continuously seek feedback and challenge your design, through reviews and user testing, to improve your work and identify new solutions and ideas - Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables) - Since we are a company in an expansion phase your role may also include support with other general design tasks, both offline and online. Who are we looking for? - Track record of successfully creating intuitive design of user interfaces based on real user need, preferably from a high growth company/start up - Experience designing enterprise products, localized web pages and mobile apps - Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Adobe XD, InVision, Balsamiq, Zeplin, and Sketch. - You have a sense for clean and modern design that looks stylish and simple - Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from management, tech, and other stakeholders. - Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating rich and user-friendly web applications business software, mobile apps, and end user features. - Business know-how: Understanding of business metrics and the ability to translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences - You thrive on change and are comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments - Bachelor's degree in Design (including graphic design and communication design), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS) or a related field, or equivalent practical experience - Fluency in Swedish and English both verbal and written is required.
