Heavy Duty Diesel Exhaust Aftertreatment Regional Technical Account Manager

The Heavy Duty Diesel team consists of dynamic and experienced colleagues in Sweden, UK and Germany. The exhaust aftertreatment for heavy duty diesel engines are facing new challenges with advanced catalysts and particulate filters needed for meeting the upcoming emission legislation (Euro VII, Stage VI). As Regional Technical Account Manager (RTAM) you will be responsible for one of our key customers, building and maintaining a long-term strategic relationship. The RTAM leads technical projects with the customer, and ensures that the customer’s requirement are translated in meaningful test programs. The RTAM is also working closely with the Product Development teams to ensure a continuous development of JM’s product portfolio.

The position is located in Gothenburg, but with intensive cooperation with colleagues in Europe and globally.

Key responsibilities

  • Key technical contact with the customer, and serve as the voice of the customer within JM
  • Design and evaluate technical programs, and transfer the information to internal and external parties
  • Works with the broader JM Technology organization (Process Development, Product Development, Testing) to ensure that JM has the right products for the customer in Europe

Background and skills
As Regional Technical Account you have the drive to develop the most suitable aftertreatment system design for meeting the customer’s requirement, to pro actively investigate different design concepts and components together with Product Development.

  • We prefer a background within applied catalysis or emission control technology
  • Masters degree in engineer or higher combined with relevant industrial experience
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to rapidly form conclusions from complex information
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Strong customer focus and a practical and business-oriented mindset
  • Strong record of building relationships based on trust and collaboration with external parties as well as internal colleagues
  • Fluent in English
