We are looking for


A Senior Salesforce Developer with at least 5 years of experience of development within the platform, joining our Salesforce Chapter Europe team of specialists, supporting a wide variety of product teams.

You are a self-motivated professional who likes to drive topics, taking responsibility as well as collaborating closely with stakeholders, developers, and architects.

You also have a customer-first mindset and is ready to challenge the status quo and an ability to solve complex problems and think out of the box


Your typical tasks include

  • Develop solutions deployed to various Salesforce products, such as Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud and help to achieve the business goals.
  • Work in a team centric environment where a culture of innovation allows your input and ideas to become part of the solution.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver on a backlog of project and maintenance work
  • Develop plan for delivering on commitments, and then execute on those plans following agile methodologies.
  • Assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
  • Facilitate, research, model, and define requirements, creating value for Volvo Group, Dealers, and Customers.
  • Sharing of information and learnings, all while working in a fast-paced environment


About you - must have

  • In depth knowledge of Salesforce declarative tools, such as Flow Builder and also vast experience using Apex custom coding. Ability to choose whether to go for a customized approach or not when making design decisions.
  • Familiar with using Apex (classes and triggers), Visualforce, Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components.
  • You have Hands On experience in one or many of the following - Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud (B2B Commerce)
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce development best practices and frameworks
  • Attained the following Salesforce certifications as a minimum:
  • Certified Platform Developer I
  • Certified Platform Developer II
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in different geographies.
  • Excellent written (Business & Technical), verbal and listening communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Agile framework including writing User Stories with Acceptance Criteria as a technique to capture and articulate business requirements

Education

  • A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering science, Information Technology, or other equivalent/related programs.

Good to have

  • Experience working with integrations, using MuleSoft
  • Experience developing using B2B Commerce for Visualforce or B2B Commerce on Lightning
  • Frontend development experience using JavaScript
  • Proficiency of using Copado as a release management tool
  • MuleSoft and Copado certifications
