Working as a Risk Analyst in CRO Office and risk aggregation at SEB in Stockholm you will develop your knowledge of SEB's aggregate risk profile across credit, market, liquidity and non-financial risks. The position entails an opportunity to work with risk data analysis and aggregation, as well as SEB's framework for managing risks. You will work in a challenging and inspiring environment, build a broad network within the organisation and get a good overview of the bank.

Simultaneously with working in the role being recruited to, you will participate in SEB´s International Trainee Programme, which gives you the opportunity to develop an extensive network within the bank, gain a deep understanding of the international financial industry and be professionally and personally challenged.

Your Trainee Position and Your Team

In your role at CRO office and Risk Aggregation, you will be part of a competent team in a dynamic environment working on a wide range of risk analyses, such as financial risks, cyber threats, third-party risks, IT risks, money laundering risks, and climate risks. You will take part in regular processes, such as the monthly/quarterly asset quality and risk reporting as well as thematic risk reviews that are presented to management and the board. The team also prepares presentations for rating agencies, handles requests from regulators, manages the bank´s economic capital and stress testing methodologies, and drives the development of a framework for sustainability risk.

Your Required Skills

We are looking for you with passion for business and thrives in a changing environment. We like you to challenge us, now and for the future. We are looking for you who:
  • Have an academic degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or equivalent
  • Have graduated before programme start or within the last three years
  • It is meritorious if you have some work experience
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish
To succeed in this position you are proactive, structured and delivery-focused with an analytical and strategic mindset. You have an excellent ability to communicate conclusions both in writing and in presentations. Since you will work close to cross-functions within different units of the bank, strong collaboration skills are required. It is meritorious if you have advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and SQL programming.
