We are now looking for a highly experienced Senior Project/Product Manager. The work is full-time and will be located in SFS office in Solna, Sweden. However, our projects/products can be local, on Nordic level as well as global ones. This means you will cooperate with the central functions like Operations, Sales, etc. in the Nordics and might be in charge for a project team which is working in different Nordic countries and be a part of global projects driven centrally from headquarters in Germany. Your project/product scope is typically centered around IT, automation and digitalization topics.
To ensure customer and organizational success, SFS is interested in adding a highly motivated, entrepreneurial and self-driven Senior Project/Product Manager who has managed projects/products in the same or similar industries, delivering high quality digital products. The successful candidate is capable of leading a cross functional team, which is not reporting to the Project/Product Manager, and to interact in a professional way with our customers and stakeholders. What will my responsibilities be?
  • Project management mainly in the area of software development, automation and digitalization
  • Your role will be to lead Nordic projects/products, sometimes in global setup
  • Ensure projects are delivered on agreed time, budget and quality/scope.
  • As Project Manager in SFS, you steer and lead transition and transformation activities on various company levels, including project setup (e.g. business case, project plan, project organization, reporting)
  • Adhere to PMO standards defined, and manage and coordinate all temporarily assigned project team
  • You are responsible for implementation and performance controlling (time, quality and costs) as well as regular monitoring and updates. In this regard, you are also responsible for the SteerCo, monitoring and approval of status reports, project documentation etc.
  • You also clarify and track project topics with customers and/or project team members incl., if required, escalation to management.
  • Initiate and contribute to activities to continuously improve the product/solution, including use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.
  • Establish and manage or synchronize a cross functional team to realize the development of the product(s)/solution(s) assigned.
  • Continuous improvement of the tools and processes used in SFS
  • Develop the product/solution strategy and suggest a long-term roadmap for the lifecycle of the assigned product/solution, prioritize backlog together with Product Owner.
  • Technical management, involvement in SW development process
  • Requirements clarification and analysis
  • Virtual project management is part of daily business for you
What do I need to qualify for this job?
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree preferred, with an engineering/IT background
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior position delivering IT projects
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Scrum, KANBAN, etc.), solid work experience in agile teams
  • Ability to transform business requirements into technical solutions
  • Project management skills, including developing project plans, timelines / schedules, budgets, proposed layouts, resource requirements, calculating ROI, etc.
  • Demonstrated PM experience in delivering IT and digitalization projects
  • Demonstrated experience delivering successful projects with only remote supervision or support with a proven history of solving problems for customers.
  • Project Management and/or Scrum certification is a great advantage, as well as technical expertise in various areas of modern SW development
  • Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the Nordics.
  • Open to share previous experiences to improve PMO processes and tools
