Volvo Trucks are constantly developing and at Commercial Offer & Sales Support we’re now looking for a Product Information Manager within the Product & Driver Information team.

Our purpose is to drive the commercialisation of Volvo Trucks’ new offer and support the market companies in selling our current products and services with the highest customer satisfaction and profitability.

Within the Product & Driver Information team, we develop content and new digital ways to present information to the sales crew, body builders, customers and truck drivers. In our team, we believe that challenging ourselves and maintaining an engaging, positive and helpful attitude is what makes us successful.


What will you do?

As Volvo Trucks expand the electric trucks offer and launch new features with focus on quality, safety and environmental care, you will be a key player in the development of corresponding content for our different user groups.


You will develop product information material that provides our sales crew with deciding factors in their meeting with customers. You will also produce content for Driver Guide, our recently launched tool for distributing driver instructions, driving tips and vehicle handover experience. We work in advanced content management systems.


In your daily work you will cooperate with product managers, engineers, market representatives and end users to explain new features & functions in a pedagogic manner. This means having internal, external and international contacts, which we hope will excite and inspire you.


The main tasks will be:

  • Develop and maintain driver instructions for new product features, including text, pictures and active media
  • Develop and maintain product information content
  • Work/release planning
  • Support development of other related areas within information creation and distribution

We believe you have:

  • A creative and investigative mindset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge about how to formulate instructions from an end-user perspective
  • A degree within technical communication or equivalent by experience
  • Fully proficient in written & spoken English, other languages are considered a merit
  • A structured way of working
  • Experience from content management tools (we use WebBase and Censhare)
  • Experience in working with illustrations and graphical user interface (i.e. Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Truck knowledge is an advantage
  • Networking & collaboration skills: Experience from working with Volvo Trucks organizations to find information is an advantage
