Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

In transmission manufacturing we are in an expansive and exciting phase where we are laying the foundation for Scania's future transmission production.

Do you want to be involved in producing eMachine prototypes and build competence around series production?

We are now looking for an process engineer with a background in electrical engineering who wants to be part of the journey and our team in the Technology organisation (DXT).

Tasks
As a process engineer with us, you work in close collaboration with R&D, production as well as with production engineers within the group. You will have a wide network of contacts throughout the company as well as with external suppliers and partners, both national and international.

The office is located in Södertälje, and the job requires some travelling. As a process engineer, you will have a central role in the competence development around eMachine production at Scania.

You will belong to a team of production engineers and process engineers with a great commitment.

You will work with high demands and expectations of:
  • Process quality
  • Process cost
  • Design for manufacturing in collaboration with R&D
  • Ability to manufacture the product
Your profile
We are looking for a results-driven person with a strong technical interest. To succeed in the position, you should have the following background:
  • University or civil engineer with focus on electrical engineering
  • Experience from a previous position as a process engineer or equivalent experience
  • Ability to analyze complex situations in a structured way
  • Creative and solution-oriented
  • Ability and willingness to share experiences and guide colleagues
  • As the job includes international contacts, English at a professional level is a requirement. German is a merit
