We build relations within the start-up world, research trends and gain insights on where our industry is heading as well as test new ways of doing business.



Job Description


As Internal Communication Specialist at the Laboratory you will work in a multi-competence team consisting of data scientists, engineers, project managers and business developers with focus on testing new things to generate business benefit. Your mission is to translate the team’s findings and insights into different suitable modes and means of communication to challenge our business in a nice way and to reach our audiences in the most suitable way. You have the strategic and operational responsibility to initiate, lead, execute and follow-up on internal communications projects. You communicate proactively and reactively with our employees through our internal communications channels, and by doing so contribute to the Laboratory awareness. You will collaborate with other stakeholders, internal and/or external, in developing new ways of communicating or formats to improve and to increase engagement internally. The team holds the knowledge and will be the spokes people, but you will make sure they do it in the right way. From time to time you might have to work with agencies, for example when it comes to packaging and design, and you are comfortable in dealing and cooperating with them. Key responsibilities include:

  • You act as communications advisor and support to The Laboratory in their communication with central functions, leaders local/regional teams.
  • You set a strategy and goals for communications with an activity plan, tonality, communications synergies with other internal players, mode of communications i.e. PowerPoint, picture library, films, SharePoint, newsletter, events etc.
  • You own and take responsibility for the communication area for the Laboratory. You set up and ensure we work in the best and most efficient way when it comes to internal communication.You educate the team when it comes to communications and you make sure we set and follow an identity, tonality and hold some key messages from the Laboratory.

As for your professional background we are looking for candidates that have:

  • Formal education within Communication, if not, at least a couple of years’ experiences from similar positions
  • Experience from corporate communications or/and internal communication
  • You have excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge in other languages is meriting
