We are looking for an experienced marketer to help us deliver data-driven consumer experiences across the lifecycle from initial consideration to purchase and on to the post-purchase ownership experience. We are re-organizing internally to better cater to the needs of our consumers at each stage of the lifecycle and recognize that our ability to deliver a compelling consumer experience is increasingly predicated on our effective use of data. We are, therefore, seeking a leader in the role of Global Consumer Data Director to take global responsibility for consumer data and help us to fulfil our ambitions.


As we seek to accelerate our journey to be a fully consumer centric organization we require new skills and expertise to help us leverage consumer data as a strategic asset. Our aim is to better utilize data to deliver enhanced end consumer experiences while ensuring we comply fully with all current and forthcoming regulations as they relate to data and privacy.


This role will work closely with our BA’s (our 4 Business Areas are geographic regions) to champion the Electrolux consumer data vision and take a lead role in institutionalizing the strategy, processes and toolsets needed to realize that vision.


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who can operate as a subject matter expert with mature leadership skills while fostering strong collaboration between the different geographic regions of our organization to help them deliver on their ambitions. Thus, acting as a model of servant leadership is key.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the consumer data strategy in conjunction with our BA’s encompassing how we collect, manage and activate consumer data via our various channels and touchpoints

• Foster a thorough understanding of the value of data inside of the organization and evangelizing for greater use of consumer data to power our consumer experiences

• Drive adoption of common perspectives, frameworks, vocabulary and technologies as they relate to consumer data to aid our move towards greater data maturity

• Act as a change agent for the organization driving data maturity by building out the knowledge and cultivating the competencies, we need to better leverage data in our day-to-day work

• Work with others to define and deliver the use cases that deliver a superior consumer experience through optimal use of data

• Plan with the BA’s the implementation of these use cases based on opportunity assessments and business cases

• Determine how we can use build unified consumer profiles for use in activation utilizing 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data

• Enable personalization via our consumer touchpoints by making data available to our consumer facing systems (both marketing and service)

• Play a major role in the choice of technologies we use to handle and manage consumer data taking into account our existing MarTech stack and desire for commonality across regions where we can achieve it

• Work with other stakeholders involved in data but in domains outside of consumer data to ensure we have a joined up and coherent overall data strategy and operations

• Act as a key advocate for utilizing our consumer data assets for advanced analytics to guide our strategic direction by ensuring access to those involved in such analysis

• Stay continually updated on the data and privacy regulations and laws as they pertain to our business in our various geographies to ensure proactive adherence

EDUCATION

• University degree or equivalent


EXPERIENCE

• At least 10+ years industry experience – either client or agency side

• Worked in roles with an international scope and preferably in a hub and spoke model

• Real world and concrete experience in customer data management

• Demonstrable experience working with both IT and business stakeholders
