As a family-owned company with over 1,300 employees, Uzin Utz is a globally active full-service provider for flooring systems. At our headquarters in Ulm, we develop and produce liquid adhesives and powder products. We are looking for you to join the Business Unit Uzin at our Group headquarters in Ulm-Donautal as of the next possible starting date to fill the responsible position as Export Manager (m/f/d) UZIN

Your tasks:
  • You will be responsible for the development and expansion of international sales regions with a focus on Scandinavia.
  • You will be responsible for direct export sales for selected regions.
  • You will manage and lead our sales-related teams in these regions and be responsible for the associated budget through monthly sales plan/actual comparison and compliance with KPIs.
  • You are responsible for the implementation of our business strategy in the respective markets and for the development of partners and new sales channels in close coordination with the sales management.
  • Based on existing business plans or new business plans to be created, you will develop potential and market analyses.
  • You observe and analyse market and competitive developments.
  • Together with the international and local teams from Marketing and Product Management, you will control and plan product launches or possible product range extensions, including services.
  • You support our local partners in the efficient positioning of our products on the market: development of new sales strategies, permanent execution of market activities for our products, active negotiation management including presentation of concepts and products, agreement of an annual commitment with our local partners.

Your profile:
  • You have a successfully completed degree in industrial engineering or business administration with professional experience in sales according to the requirements above.
  • A strong understanding of P&L as well as budget management is mandatory.
  • You have strong customer orientation, negotiation skills and closing confidence.
  • You have experience in working with multinational brands in a B2B environment and ideally with the target group of craftsmen and the construction industry.
  • You already have experience in leading a team or have leadership qualities that you would like to apply.
  • Due to your excellent communication and presentation skills, you feel comfortable in a multicultural environment.
  • You are open-minded, proactive, self-motivated and goal-oriented, and you also have a hands-on mentality.
  • As you will be working with international teams, you should have a very good knowledge of German and English (both written and spoken). Further language skills would be an advantage.
  • You should have a high willingness to travel and stay overnight in the sales region.
