Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions - Sandviken · Sandviken · Ansök senast 14 mars

Heltid · Tillsvidareanställning

Jobbet har utgått och går inte längre att ansöka.

One of the key success factors for Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is the close collaboration we have with our customers and internal stakeholders in driving improvements in our products and services. Within division Rock Tools and our Product Line Services, this means understanding the needs and requirements of our customers’ and our Sandvik users and providing them with everything from on-site support to training and a suite of digital solutions. We’re now looking for an energetic, visionary and networking Digital Transformation Specialist – someone who aims for true value and a top-notch user experience.

We welcome you to a young, engaged and curious team with an exciting agenda and huge impact on our business. We’re equally passionate about our services as our people, and offer you a truly inclusive, innovative and high-tech arena to advance within. So, come and join us and our world of opportunities!

About the job

In this position, you’re the link between our global app users and app developers, and you actively work to ensure a smooth and user-friendly experience of our digital solutions. You take part in monthly and weekly follow up meetings, and you coordinate our global first line support by leading activities such as prioritizing issues and bugs and reporting back to users once they are resolved. Other items on your agenda are creating communication and training material for new features and app updates, performing trainings to promote global user adoption, as well as updating our master data on a regular basis.

You constantly touch base with our users to look at new ideas, understand their needs and turn them into digital feature requests. In this part of the job, we truly value your input and contribution to what requests we should focus on. You also lead and coordinate user acceptance testing of new features and take ownership for some of the projects we need to run within this area. Your role involves many different stakeholders, especially with our R&D and Product Management team, and you collaborate both internally and externally to share knowledge, drive best practices and help us develop in the digital field.

The position is based at our Rock Tools production site in Sandviken, but to get a glimpse of the world you’ll really be joining – take a look at this YouTube-video about our concept “You’ll never work alone”.

About you

For this job, we naturally need someone with a broad understanding of IT, technology and digitalization, and you have most likely held similar tech-focused positions in your previous career. You do need experience from project management, and preferably from leading smaller transformation or change projects in the digital arena. A relevant academic degree within a technical or business-related field is necessary, and you comfortably manage the common applications for our daily operations in Office 365. If you also have knowledge of product/project management software like Jira or Trello it’s a big plus. As we’re represented worldwide, you have both cultural awareness and excellent communication skills in English. Other language skills, for example Swedish, is beneficial.

Your can-do attitude is very important to us! You have a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, a massive portion of team spirit and a bit of social confidence. New tech often raises lots of questions and a need to search for answers - you take your findings and make them logical for everyone, and you don’t mind some time in spotlight as you communicate with many different stakeholders. Supported by innovation and great collaboration, you look at things with fresh perspectives, put your ideas into actions, and you’re able to challenge conventional views on problem solving. You work in structured yet agile ways, and you take initiatives and multitask to keep momentum in our digital transformation.

A glimpse of our culture

At Sandvik, we’re tech driven, innovative and entrepreneurial! For us, success is a team effort - we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive culture where people can be themselves and reach their full potential.
