Creator Studio is a digital first, end-to-end on-demand platform with the goal to challenge the market of branded merchandise around the world. We do so by partnering with Creators such as artists, athletes, teams or individuals, giving them a canvas for creativity and expressions, while being a globally trusted partner operating their merch stores. With our backbone from H&M Group’s ecosystem we can provide our Creators on-demand printing through a sustainable supply chain and a global network. Job Description


Are you a creative, passionate and professional Designer who would love to work at a print-on-demand start up within H&M? We look for an experienced and talented Designer to develop our products further together with the assortment and operations team. This is a part time position (50% i.e. 20hrs/wk), physically based in Stockholm, Sweden.

What you will do:

  • You will work as a valued member of a small and focused assortment team as the designer for Mens, Women and Kidswear
  • You collaborate with other teams and functions across the organization and bring your wide and extensive experience from working on many projects and ability to handle various stake holders simultaneously
  • You collaborate with Creative Directors, Pattern Makers, Product Managers, Product Developers and Business Controllers
  • You plan the assortment together with Buyer/Product Managers and drive the design and development of the products
  • You are responsible for driving the overall physical product offering of Creator Studio, as well as third party pick-and-buy items to create and build a strong assortment range for digital print
  • You are on top of the fashion trends and bring your fresh ideas, energy, creativity and fully diverse global perspective to the team and inspire them with your great communication skills
  • You lead the communication and development of physical garments in the Creator Studio product offering
  • And you are on top of the latest technical developments, like digital fashion, metaverse and any forward thinking explorative aspect of this, applied to the global fashion arena
  • You are interested in the field of print techniques, machinery, hardware as well as software connected to physical printing
  • You lead and reach your goals with a genuine passion for the latest fashion and quality, both from a commercial and an aspirational standpoint
  • You will work on many projects simultaneously and are used to do so without losing speed. This requires high energy and flexibility, strong independent drive, creativity and a constantly curious global mindset



Qualifications


  • 3+ years of relevant working experience within the design field
  • High knowledge of fashion design, print technicalities and processes
  • Firsthand experience from production/global production
  • Strong eye for colors and garment-print connection
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between fabric construction, composition and print outcome
  • Excellent illustration and strong drawing skills
  • Genuine sense for global fashion trends and its print trends
  • Solid and fast skills in Adobe Creative Suite programs
  • You also work in CLO 3D or similar software
  • Strong communication skills and flexible approach
  • An experienced leader who thrives as a team player and brings diverse and global perspectives
  • You are used to a fast-paced ever-changing work environment working in an organized, structured manner
  • A strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Fluent in English (Swedish is not necessary)

About the recruitment process

This is a part time, 50% i.e. 20hrs/wk, permanent position starting as soon as possible, physically based in Stockholm. (It may develop into a fulltime position in the future).
