Job Description

We are looking for Data Engineers who want to work in a modern organization, where agility, automation and cloud are non-negotiables.

Our product area is called Analytics and Data Platforms and our teams are responsible for all data processing, reporting and advanced analytics capabilities across the whole value chain. This means tons of data and unlimited learning opportunities.

About the position

We appreciate a multitude of technical backgrounds, but we believe you enjoy working here if you’re passionate about data and have worked hands-on with analytics in the past, either in modern and cloud based data warehouses or with modern open-source data processing frameworks such as Spark. We appreciate your solid foundations in database principles and/or software engineering, as these go hand-in-hand when building robust, cloud-based solution.

You will work in the Exploratory analytics team, a team of tech savvy members with the mission to enable fast and limitless analytics using cutting edge cloud technology.

We currently work with the latest Azure cloud technology and we are very curious and open for different solutions to attend our user’s needs.

We are looking for you who

  • Collaborate with other engineers and specialists in building data-driven solutions that have laser-focus on business problems and our customers
  • Build products in a varied of technologies and with varied focus (reporting, self-service analytics, large-scale data processing)
  • Be a champion of DevOps mindset and principles, which emphasizes automation, continuous integration, and end-to-end ownership of solutions
  • Use your expertise and creativity to solve problems using modern technologies and software engineering, in the areas of data quality, testing, deployment and monitoring



Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience of software development and testing in the field of Data & Analytics
  • Experience in Azure cloud tech-stack (Knowledge in GCP is a plus)
  • Experience in Big Data technologies (Presto, Hive, Spark)
  • Experience in Big Data file formats (e.g., Avro, Parquet)
  • Expert in data base programming languages (SQL, PL/SQL, other for relational databases)
  • Expert in object-oriented programming languages such as Python
  • Experienced in agile methodologies
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal
  • You want to make an impact and take on big complex issues
  • Experience from successful delivery of high-quality outcomes
  • Passion for people and interest for technology
