Quickspin is a Swedish iGaming studio with the pursuit of creating the most thrilling experience ever. We also happen to be really awesome. To continue securing the company’s success story, we’re now looking for a Compliance & Certification Controller to join the team from our Malta office.

About the role

A Compliance & Certification Controller at Quickspin will be part of the small but awesome Compliance & Certification team, currently located in Stockholm, Sweden. The teams’ responsibility is to ensure that the company meets all the applicable regulatory requirements, entering into new regulated markets, keeping up to date with changing regulations, improving internal compliance procedures, and maintain a robust internal audit function.

In this role, your main task will be to create and manage compliance processes by taking the overall responsibility of the jurisdictional work and staying informed with current regulatory landscape. By working closely with several departments in the company, operators, regulators, and the compliance team at Playtech (our beneficial owners), be able to identify areas of our business where there is a risk of non-compliance and help develop processes, policies, and procedures to reduce the risk. Depending on your interest and the company’s needs, you may also take ownership for certification activities. Overall, some of your responsibilities will be:

· Review and understand Quickspin’s gaming license requirements in multiple jurisdictions to ensure they are being met in full.

· Provide expert advice on specific and complex gaming matters in countries of interest.

· Examine and identify the risk areas across the business and mitigate risks ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulations & legislation

· Support teams in reviewing and creating processes as well as drafting and updating relevant documents and policies

· Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organization and develop a culture of compliance through the business.

· Assist in the gathering of internal information and requirements in response to regulatory requests.

· Prepare, produce, write, review, keep track of, and ensure consistency of regular reporting submitted by/to gaming authorities.

Qualifications & Skills required

· A keen interest in compliance work and the iGaming industry

· At least +3 years of work experience in relevant areas (a compliance/legal environment, preferably working in highly regulated sectors and/or with AML compliance topics).

· Ability to work independently as well as with others

· Fluency in written & spoken English (other European languages is meriting).

· Demonstrated skills with being proactive, a multi-tasker and a good leader

· Relevant university degree
