About us Husqvarna Construction Global Information Services (CP GIS) is a newly established organization which consists of two IT delivery departments, IT Governance, Enterprise Architecture and a dedicated Business Engagement function. The organization is part of Husqvarna Group Global Information Services (GIS),) which provides services to the entire Husqvarna Group with the purpose to be a strong partner to the business. To ensure better support for the business and to strengthen the IT delivery CP GIS is now expanding the Business Engagement capability with a dedicated organization for Business Engagement. The current plan indicates that the Business Engagement organization shall contain several Business Engagement Managers as well as a resource pool with resources such as Work Package Leaders and Business Analysts, that will support the Business Engagement Managers. About the job At Husqvarna, Business Engagement is similar to ITIL’s Business Relationship Management area. The Business Engagement Director is simply put the IT key-account manager with one leg in the technology and one leg in the business. The purpose is to understand the business and proactively see how IT can be used to further strengthen the business. Business Engagement shall function as a catalysator for IT solutions within the business and contribute in the ongoing digitalization journey. The Business Engagement Director will be in charge of building the organization unit and establishing new processes and routines, setting the framework for this unit and how to work operationally within this area. Key responsibilities and tasks also includes: In a startup phase, act as a Business Engagement Manager for a dedicated area Be part of the ongoing strategy work to strengthen the IT delivery Build operational excellence and enable IT to be a true partner to the business In this position you will take an active part in the HCP GIS Management Team and participate in management decision-making processes. The role also includes close collaboration with Marketing, Sales and R&D. As this is a leadership position you will manage a team of direct reports. You will report to VP IT Services & Solutions Construction. Relevant background We believe you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar role, preferably within Business Relationship Management as well as experience being part of a management team. You have a bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Businesses or similar or have gained the theoretical background through work experience. You possess great leadership skills and have experience leading leaders. Excellent communications skills and fluent in English both orally and in writing. Who are you? As for your personal skills we think you are a self-driven person holding strong business acumen. You have a strategic mindset when developing and implementing strategies in order to reach set goals. With a holistic perspective you are quick to understand how things are connected and know how to plan, organize and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced work environment. Moreover, we believe you are a natural at building contact networks and maintain relationships as well as co-operate with both internal and external colleagues. You see yourself as both a leader and a team player and are not afraid of being hands-on when needed. The position is located in Jonsered, just outside Gothenburg.
