In this position, you will play a central role in supporting workplace operations, coordinating services, and ensuring high-quality standards across facilities. You will collaborate closely with vendors, technicians, internal teams, and our client, contributing to an excellent workplace experience every day.
What You'll Do
- Provide formal support to employees, participating in training and development, onboarding, and coaching.
- Schedule and manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and follow up on deadlines.
- Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
- Maintain positive client relationships and participate in meetings to address unresolved issues.
- Prepare and support capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
- Perform workplace and facility inspections and ensure quality assurance in line with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and opportunities for upgrades.
- Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
- Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures; review price quotes for procurement of parts, services, and labor.
- Conduct process and procedure training related to maintenance, repairs, safety, and workplace services.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Apply knowledge of your discipline and how it integrates with others to achieve team and departmental goals.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues within systems and processes.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with 3-5 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Facility Management certification preferred.
- Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance is a plus.
- Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive or complex information and communicate performance expectations effectively.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and influence team efficiency and quality.
- Excellent organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
- Advanced math skills and the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial figures.
