Verification Engineer

As Verification Engineer at Wellspect you will work in our Research & Development department and have a key role in our Technical Product Management of Systems team. You will join system, electronics and software engineers working with maintenance and product development activities. You will be part of a cross functional team that takes us forward in the area of embedded systems in the medical device area.

Responsibilities

Analyze system and subsystem requirements

Create test specifications and test methods

Plan and coordinate verification activities

Perform integration and verification on different levels

Identify necessary instruments and equipment for verification

Create deviation reports for verification issues and perform root cause analysis for identified deviations

Qualifications / Background

An academic education (M.Sc or B.Sc.) in software/mechatronics/electronics or similar

At least 5 years documented experience in verification of complex systems and subsystems including embedded devices (software and electronics)

Used to write technical documentation (specifications, design plans, reports, analysis etc)

Used to work with standards (IEC 60601, IEC62304, ISO13485) and standardized test methods

Strong drive to achieve goals and targets

A creative mindset with strong analytical skills

Great communication skills in English (both written and verbal)

It is highly meritorious with experience in verification of complex systems within Medical Device or other industries with high safety standards

It is also meritorious if you have been working with EMC regulations and Cyber security
