We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Transport Coordinator to manage and oversee logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation activities, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accurate documentation, and managing relationships with freight forwarders and transport providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all logistics-related documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date, including shipping documents, customs paperwork, and transportation agreements.

• Coordinate and book transportation for goods, selecting the appropriate routing and ensuring the best value for the company.

• Communicate transportation requirements to logistics partners.

• Request and review transport quotes from freight forwarders.

• Analyze and evaluate quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and suitability for the company's needs.

• Track and monitor the progress of shipments from origin to destination.

• Provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding the status of shipments and any potential delays.

• Work closely with freight forwarders to ensure smooth transportation and resolve any transit-related issues.

• Address and resolve any discrepancies or delays with freight forwarders.

• Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage inventory effectively and reduce storage-related issues.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Familiarity with shipping regulations and import/export documentation is preferred.

About the Employment

The position is a consulting assignment with a start date in the near future. The assignment lasts for six months or longer, with a full-time workload of 100% and the possibility of extension. As a consultant, you will be employed by Adecco Sweden. Naturally, we have collective agreements.
