About the role
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Training and Implementation Manager to lead and scale our educator training initiatives for Sumdog and Strawbees. This leadership role is crucial in ensuring the successful adoption and integration of our educational products within schools and districts. The ideal candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive train-the-trainer program, equipping a network of educators, trainers, and internal teams with the knowledge and confidence to champion our solutions.
Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our training and implementation strategy, with a strong focus on driving user engagement, increasing product adoption, and aligning training efforts with broader company growth objectives. Initially, the primary focus will be on expanding Strawbees' presence and impact within the US education market.
As part of the Revenue Operations (RevOps) team, you will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to enhance educator engagement, improve customer experience, and contribute to overall business success.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Training Development & Execution:
- Develop and implement a scalable train-the-trainer program, ensuring educators and internal teams can effectively deliver product training.
- Design engaging and data-driven training frameworks that enhance product adoption and maximize learning outcomes.
- Utilize a mix of instructional design methodologies, including virtual and in-person workshops, self-paced e-learning, and interactive webinars.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track training effectiveness and continuously optimize training content based on feedback and analytics.
Educator & Partner Engagement:
- Build and manage relationships with key district stakeholders, instructional leaders, and training partners to expand our influence in the education sector.
- Ensure alignment between training content, educator needs, and product development, leveraging insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Serve as the primary liaison for schools and districts implementing Strawbees and Sumdog, offering tailored support to enhance teacher confidence and student engagement.
Team Leadership & Internal Enablement:
- Lead and mentor a network of certified trainers, brand ambassadors, and in-house education specialists to deliver high-impact training.
- Develop and execute internal training programs to ensure cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success) are well-versed in our educational products.
- Work closely with the Product team to translate educator feedback into actionable improvements.
Thought Leadership & Market Expansion:
- Represent the company at key industry conferences, trade shows, and speaking engagements, positioning Strawbees and Sumdog as thought leaders in STEAM/STEM education.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends, educational standards (NGSS, Common Core, TEKS), and compliance requirements, ensuring our training methodologies remain best-in-classContribute to the development of whitepapers, case studies, and content marketing efforts to showcase the impact of our training programs.
About You*
We're looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years of experience in training program development, instructional coaching, or professional development for educators.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing train-the-trainer programs at scale.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable training initiatives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills, with a talent for engaging diverse stakeholders.
- A track record of managing projects and training initiatives that drive measurable impact.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and lead multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Willingness to travel as needed for in-person training sessions, conferences, and partner engagements.
Beneficial to have:
- Experience with CRM and reporting tools (e.g., HubSpot) to track training effectiveness and engagement.
- Strong knowledge and/or connections in US or UK education systems
