Job description

We are looking for an experienced Test Equipment Engineering consultant to support the refurbishment of a piece of test equipment used in a pilot plant for folding and sealing of packaging material. The role is technically focused and involves risk assessment and validation activities related to the refurbishment and continued use of the equipment. Responsibilities include performing ESRA (Equipment Safety Risk Assessment), HRA (Human Reliability Assessment), developing and/or executing V&V (Verification & Validation) planning, ensuring the equipment meets applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with engineering, quality, and operations in a pilot plant environment.

Basic qualifications

- Proven experience in ESRA, HRA, and V&V
- Technical background within engineering, automation, mechanical engineering, or similar
- Experience with test equipment or production-related equipment is highly desirable
- Used to working in regulated or quality-driven environments
- Ability to work independently and drive tasks from assessment through documentation

Preferred additional skills, personal traits and experience

- Comfortable working at the intersection of engineering, safety, and validation in a hands-on, pilot plant setting
