About this opportunity:

Join our team at Ericsson Microwave as a Test Environment Engineer!

We are looking for a highly motivated Test Environment Engineer to help us design, build, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot everything required to test and develop Ericsson's MINI-LINK product - including IT infrastructure, services, tools, instruments, and telecom equipment.

Our team plays a vital role in securing that approximately 500 hardware and software developers have what they need to successfully deliver the MINI-LINK product.

What you will do:
  • You will be part of a multinational team that interacts with software and hardware product development, test, and continuous integration teams.
  • The position specializes in designing, building, configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting everything needed to develop and test the MINI-LINK product, incl. the MINI-LINK itself.
  • Designing, Building, Configuring, Integrating, and Troubleshooting MINI-LINK and 3pp Products in Test Environment and Continuous Integration (CI) System.
  • Maintaining a trusted and always-on, always-improving Test Environment including responsibilities in physical security, cooling, power, and documentation.
  • Managing and working with Ericsson Engineering Environment services, processes, and deliveries.
  • Providing service-minded support and solutions to a wide set of stakeholders.
  • Lead hardware and electrical technicians in designing an efficient and cost-effective Test Environment.


The skills you bring:
  • Hands-on experience with CLI-based products/solutions, incl. configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and hardware.
  • Windows and Linux based systems, services, and applications.
  • Ethernet and TDM Traffic Generators.
  • Ethernet and IP Network competence (CCNA & CCNP).
  • Electrical, Cooling, and Power Installations.
  • Automate manual and repetitive tasks (nice to have).
  • Python (nice to have).
  • Service-mindedness and effective communication.
  • Eagerness to learn new things.
