Tech Lead - Traffic Database (TDB)

Introduction
Join a team modernising the traffic information domain for public transport. As Tech Lead for the Traffic Database (TDB), you will provide technical and architectural leadership across integrations, data quality, and lifecycle management, ensuring accurate timetable and traffic data for customer-facing channels.

Responsibilities

• Own technical direction for TDB and adjacent services; contribute to solution, software and integration architecture.
• Drive integrations and API design; review vendor specifications and coordinate delivery.
• Monitor production data and environments; plan, test and follow up on changes.
• Collaborate closely with domain/information/enterprise architects and the product organisation to reach the target architecture.
• Mentor developers; set standards, frameworks and routines for efficient lifecycle management.

Requirements (Essential)

• Strong experience with SQL Server (multiple versions) and database development/administration in complex systems.
• Developer background with solid API development (OpenAPI) and system integration experience.
• Architecture modelling in Sparx Enterprise Architect.
• Documented experience with traffic information and Nordic public transport standards (e.g., NOPTIS, Transmodel).
• Scripting/automation with PowerShell.
• Professional proficiency in Swedish and English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PubTrans, Rebus, Georg platforms.
• Real-time systems and Passenger Information Systems (PIS).
• Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration practices.
