We are now looking for a driven and engaged Team Manager for our Retail/PB OMS Team

About the role:

As a Team Manager for our Retail/PB OMS teamwithin Tech Trading Equities, you will play a key role in coaching and supporting the team on its journey toward becoming even more self-organized. You will operate in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the continuous delivery of modern trading systems.

Working in an Agile setting, you will collaborate closely with development teams and Product Owners to ensure the team has the right conditions to succeed. You are comfortable challenging the status quo and encouraging experimentation, new ways of working, and continuous learning-both as a team and as individuals. You thrive on improvement and view reflection and feedback as essential for success.

The team is part of the Wealth domain and will work closely with WAM Tech, a new area within Technology focusing on savings, trading, and investment offerings.

Currently, the team consists of four employees and one consultant based in Stockholm. The team is expected to grow, and as Team Manager, you will have a crucial role in supporting and guiding this expansion.

As a Team Manager, you will:
    • Have a strong understanding of modern development practices, Agile methodologies, and continuous delivery.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
    • Support the team's performance, delivery, and KPIs. Remove impediments and provide guidance while empowering teams to make their own decisions.
    • Work closely with the POs and other stakeholders, both within the Domain and cross SEB.
    • Coach career/competence development and performance management.
    • Drive and take initiative to ensure the team delivers in the most efficient way.
    • Try new things and challenge behaviors to learn more about yourself and the team.
    • Handle financials, keeping within cost frames, and proactively drive efficiency in the short and long term.
    • Build a feedback culture that thrives in the agile context.


To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
    • Long experience working with Trading products within Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income or similar products.
    • Knowledge of Trading applications, Electronic trading, Fix-protocol, Exchange connectivity and similar is meriting.
    • You combine strong leadership skills with deep technical expertise.
    • Knowledge within C++, GO, DevOps and CI/CD is meriting.
    • Solid experience in software development and solution design.
    • The ability to act as a Tech Lead when needed, guiding the team in technical decisions and ensuring architectural integrity.
    • Proven track record of leading in an efficient and agile way.
    • Willingness to constantly develop yourself, learn new things, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
    • Experience collaborating with external vendors to deliver comprehensive solutions.
    • A team player attitude and approach, thriving in high-performing teams and enjoying coaching and supporting your surroundings.
    • Well-developed oral and written communication skills in both Swedish and English, where you easily visualize your ideas and interact with stakeholders within both Business and IT.
