About the job

We are a team of dedicated experts who believe that great platforms are the foundation of innovation, speed and security. We are now looking for a Technology Specialist Manager who can lead our senior engineers and developers with empathy and technical depth. You will be the leader of two of our most critical and high-impact areas: Azure and AWS managed platforms and the SaaS Integrator team.

In this role, you won't just manage people; you will be the guardian of our delivery quality, our collaboration and the coach who helps our talent grow in one of the most complex environments in the industry. In our agile setup, we lead through a collaborative "Triangle" consisting of the Product Owner (PO), the Solution Architect (SA), and you - the Team Manager.

We are looking for a seasoned leader who understands that technical excellence and human empowerment go hand in hand. This is a role for a leader who values impact over prestige, and technical depth over micromanagement.

Your responsibilities

• Lead the Azure & AWS Core team, which is the engine behind two of our Cloud platforms providing automated, secure, and pre-vetted environments using Infrastructure as Code and Landing zone Vending machines.
• Lead the SaaS Integrator team, advising, onboarding, and supporting SaaS integrations throughout the bank to ensure every integration is resilient and efficient through architectural reviews, Business Continuity Management, and exit planning.
• Act as the owner of the "Who," the Quality, and the Compliance within the leadership Triangle, while the Product Owner prioritizes the When, and the Solution Architect defines the architectural How.
• Hold ultimate accountability for the entire delivery, ensuring that our resources, skills, and operational stability meet the highest standards.
• Act as the bridge to our IT strategy, participating in complex discussions to ensure alignment between technical requirements, regulatory frameworks, and business speed.

Requirements & Skills

• Experienced leader: You have at least 5-10 years of experience leading development teams within Cloud development and/or platform engineering.
• Cloud native: You have documented competence in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and a deep understanding of what it means to build and evolve a Cloud platform at scale, preferably within a regulated business.
• Strategic & Independent: You can independently support your teams in establishing their deliveries through navigating the complexities of a large-scale organization.
• Communicator & Negotiator: You are comfortable driving high-stakes discussions regarding technical governance and regulatory compliance, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on expectations, quality and risk.
• The Leaders mentality: You value collaboration and consensus. You lead through facilitation and coaching rather than command and control.
