About this opportunity:

We are recruiting a Systems Tester to join BCSS BOS EN PDU CBEV DPIV Unit in Karlskrona. The team focuses on ensuring high quality and stable deliveries for platform and product components used by internal and external customers. This role is hands-on and well suited to someone who enjoys structured testing, collaboration with engineering teams, and contributing to continuous improvement of test processes.

What you will do:

  • Plan, prepare and execute system-level test cases based on requirements and design specifications.
  • Focus on Customer-like full system verification with a target of 30 days release frequency with in-depth & long running (production like)
  • Create and maintain test documentation: test plans, test cases, checklists and test reports.
  • Perform integration and regression testing to verify new releases and fixes do not introduce regressions.
  • Reproduce, document and track defects; work closely with developers and system owners to ensure resolution.
  • Perform test environment setup and validation, including configuration, data preparation and basic troubleshooting.
  • Validate system behaviour against acceptance criteria and report results clearly to stakeholders.
  • Participate in test automation efforts by identifying candidates for automation and supporting test script maintenance.
  • Contribute to continual improvement of test processes, tools and quality metrics within the unit.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align test activities with release schedules and risk mitigation plans.


The skills you bring:

  • Practical experience in system, integration or acceptance testing in a software or telecom environment.
  • Ability and Willingness to test from different perspectives and a think outside the box mindset, is important.
  • Solid understanding of test design techniques, defect lifecycle and basic test management tools.
  • Ability to write clear, reproducible defect reports and concise test documentation.
  • Familiarity with test environments, configuration management and basic troubleshooting principles.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work with developers, product owners and operations teams.
  • Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple test activities against delivery timelines.
  • Experience with test automation tools or scripting is an advantage
  • Large interest in learning new things.
  • Fluent English;
