We are looking for a talented System Manager, Automatic Milking Systems (AMS) to drive the AMS strategy and roadmap while managing the profitability & competitiveness opportunities for the portfolio - including variants and the full milking system view.
Our milking systems are designed to improve the efficiency, productivity and welfare of dairy farms around the world.
Role and responsibilities
You will be part of our team that works with the latest technology and is at the forefront of innovation in the industry. Our System Managers work in a fast-paced, challenging environment where you can make a real difference. You will be responsible for continuously developing the system calendar for innovation and working across the organisation to bring the optimal system offering to our customers
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving the creation of the medium to long-term development and innovation strategy for the Automatic Milking Systems for the DeLaval Group, in close co-operation with other system/product groups and market teams.
- Leads the definition of variants and options to be integrated based on Automatic Milking System calendar for AMS system (including the system configuration and quoting logic).
- Supporting the creation of business proposals, business cases and contributing to innovation projects.
- Working closely with product, technical, and commercial teams across the organisation.
- Lead for system requirement definitions and follow-up in AMS related projects
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
- Several years of international product management or market experience.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks while maintaining a problem solving mentality.
- High level of business acumen to drive innovation with a strong strategic thinking ability with excellent communications skills.
- Master degree in engineering/science/economics/agriculture or veterinarian is preferable.
We're looking for someone who is organized, a strategic thinker and can adapt to fast pace changing environment. You'll need to interact effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional information
This is a full-time permanent position, based either at DeLaval's headquarters in Tumba, south of Stockholm or within Europe. The position will report to the System Director Automatic Milking Systems. We offer a hybrid workplace model, allowing flexibility to work remotely. Some travel is required.
