What to expect:

• We are looking for a passionate System Designer to shape the future of digital vehicle access. In this role, you will design embedded systems that connect smartphones, wearables, keyfobs, and cloud services to the car using cutting-edge wireless technologies such as BLE, NFC, and UWB
• You will work closely with our software teams, testers, and industry partners-including members of the Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC)-to deliver next-generation digital key functionality across current and future vehicle platforms
• Design embedded system architecture for digital key features
• Define software requirements, interfaces, and signals (wireless + in-vehicle networks)
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to implement and validate system designs
• Support both new programs and existing vehicle models
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards related to safety, cybersecurity, and communications

What you bring along:

• 4+ years' experience in embedded system design/development
• Strong experience with requirement breakdown and system-level analysis
• Knowledge of CAN / LIN / Ethernet and AUTOSAR communication standards
• Experience defining signals over wireless interfaces (NFC, BLE, UWB)
• Familiarity with automotive tools: Carweaver, Elektra
• Understanding of ISO 26262, vehicle diagnostics, and cybersecurity
• Excellent communication skills (spoken and written English)
• BSc or MSc in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Comfortable working in agile teams
• Experience with telematics and vehicle connectivity
• Cloud-to-vehicle communication understanding
• Prior collaboration with mobile ecosystem players (e.g., CCC-related work)
• Background in smartwatch / mobile device integration
• Familiarity with modern digital key standards and protocols
