Job Description

We are looking for a skilled, outgoing and motivated student to support our Swedish Depositary Services team in Stockholm for 15-20 hours per week over the next nine months.

About the role

Your main responsibilities will be to ensure oversight of investment funds and fund managers by conducting periodic controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This involves daily interaction and follow-ups with our fund customers concerning the monitoring of cash flows, investment restrictions, subscriptions and redemptions, reconciliations, etc. You will be working both with funds investing in listed financial instruments and with funds investing in more complex asset types such as private equity, private debt and real estate.

Your profile

The right candidate for this position can prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and still finds it equally important to work together as a team. You are services minded with a strong attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are able to carry out your tasks with the help of internal SOPs and guidelines while at the same time continuously working to improve and automate existing processes. In addition to being an analytical and proactive team player, you are also organised, driven and able to easily interact with both internal and external stakeholders. Your personal skills are as highly important as the rest of requirements.

In order to perform effectively in the role we believe you have:

• An interest in finance and solid understanding of fund management and financial instruments
• Strong professional approach combined with a highly structured method
• Strong communication skills in both English and Swedish
• Good understanding of MS Office programs such as Excel
