We are now seeking a new colleague to join our strategy and M&A team to help us drive growth and profitability.
What is the work about?
The Strategy and M&A team at Bonnier News consists of five people with a central role in driving the company's development. In this position, you will work directly with senior management to define and execute the group's long-term strategy.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Strategic leadership: Leading the development and execution of the company's strategy alongside senior management.
• M&A execution: Taking full ownership of the M&A process, including target identification, high-level feasibility assessments, financial valuation, internal decision processes, deal structuring, and lead negotiations.
• Project management: Driving strategic initiatives and major change projects.
• Executive decision support: Developing decision support for the company's management and Board of Directors.
• Business development: Continuously identifying and developing new business opportunities to ensure long-term competitiveness.

To excel in this role, you should be a highly motivated problem solver who combines intellectual curiosity with a pragmatic, results-oriented mindset. You can navigate complex stakeholder environments and possess the technical rigor to ensure all decisions are backed by sound analysis.

More specifically, we see that you have:

• A degree in engineering, economics, or business.
• 2-4 years of professional experience from top-tier management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy/M&A.
• Strong analytical skills combined with a deep commercial understanding.
• An interest in the media industry and journalism.
• Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language (Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish).
