Strategic Business Controller - Drive Financial Excellence - ASAP

Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Controller for a consulting assignment within the Technology function at a global industrial company.

In this role, you will act as a strategic finance partner and a member of the department's management team. You will help shape key decisions and drive financial performance in a high-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities

As a Business Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the Technology organization by delivering high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and advice. You will:

Lead monthly closing and estimation processes

Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts

Act as a financial business partner to department leaders

Manage investment controlling and provide financial guidance

Consolidate and coordinate OPEX, forecasts, and long-term business plans

Monitor and present key performance indicators

Identify and implement improvements in processes and tools

Ensure compliance with internal and external financial requirements

Support decision-making within the management team

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Minimum of 5 years' experience in business or financial controlling

Proficiency in tools such as SAP R/3, VGCS, Essbase (Hyperion), Power BI, and MS Office

Proven strategic and analytical capabilities with a hands-on approach

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience working in multinational organizations

This is a consulting assignment, meaning you will be employed by us and seconded to our client.
