The Job

We're looking for one more UX/UI designer to join our App team here at Mullvad. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining the Mullvad VPN app, which is divided into sub teams based on platform. As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will be the primary UX/UI designer in the Desktop team specifically. Working closely with developers and the UX/UI designers in the other teams.

What you will do

Transform complex feature ideas into simple and user friendly designs

Create prototypes, mockups, and copy text for developer handoff using Figma

Finding ways to conduct user research and gather feedback without collecting user data

Collaborate closely with other UX/UI designers, developers, and stakeholders to create a better user experience for our VPN applications

Who you are

Strong portfolio showcasing thoughtful process and polished visuals

High proficiency of modern design tools, preferably Figma

Experience with collaborating with other designers and developers

Good communication skills in English

Humble and team-oriented mindset

Autonomous and self-starter

Now it would be ideal if you have experience with

Design systems, with an interest in maintaining and extending them through design tokens
