We are now seeking a Senior Quality Specialist with extensive experience in AML/CTF investigations to join our team and contribute to strengthening the quality, consistency, and regulatory defensibility of our investigation processes.

About the role

As a Senior Quality Specialist, you will be part of the Transformations & Oversight team within FCP Investigations and play a key role in the global Quality Control function. You will be responsible not only for conducting quality reviews, but also for owning quality perspectives, interpreting regulatory expectations, and driving continuous improvement across the investigative process.

The role requires a strong risk-based mindset, high level of professional judgment, and the ability to act as a subject matter expert toward both operational teams and management.

Main areas of responsibility

• Perform and oversee quality reviews of complex, high-risk AML/CTF investigations and SARs to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and supervisory expectations

• Apply advanced professional judgment when assessing investigation quality, analysis, documentation, and reporting outcomes

• Identify material deficiencies, root causes, and systemic weaknesses, with a clear focus on risk and regulatory impact

• Provide high-quality, constructive, and defensible written feedback to investigators and stakeholders

• Lead analysis of QC results, including trend analysis, risk themes, and recurring quality issues

• Contribute to and, where applicable, own the development and maintenance of QC methodology, including:

- severity taxonomy

- scoring methodologies and

- other guidelines and work instructions

• Actively support management reporting using both qualitative and quantitative insights

• Participate in and lead calibration activities to ensure consistent application of quality standards

• Lead and support training initiatives and training design, contributing to capability uplift within investigations and QC

• Collaborate with global and local stakeholders to ensure harmonised quality standards and continuous process improvement

To thrive in this role, we believe you have

We are looking for a candidate who has:

• Minimum of 5 years of extensive and documented experience in ML/TF investigations, including SAR reporting to the local Financial Intelligence Unit

• Previous experience in a quality assurance, quality control, or oversight role within AML/CTF

• Deep understanding of AML/CTF regulations, including KYC, customer due diligence, investigative requirements, and reporting obligations

• Strong knowledge of ML/TF typologies, risk indicators, and investigative best practices for both natural persons and legal entities

• Proven ability to apply risk-based judgment in complex or ambiguous scenarios

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and systemic quality risks

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to report clearly to senior stakeholders and management

• Ability to work independently with high autonomy and accountability in a global, multi-jurisdictional environment

• Experience working with globally standardised QC frameworks, tools, and methodologies

• Experience defining, maintaining, and following up on quality KPIs, trend reporting, and management dashboards

• A structured and disciplined work approach, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple parallel reviews

• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
