Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a large-scale Data Center Transformation Program. The role involves managing multiple parallel sub-projects, ensuring seamless coordination between IT infrastructure initiatives and core business operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, structured program governance, and the ability to deliver complex transformations within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee end-to-end program delivery for data center transformation initiatives

Manage multiple concurrent sub-projects, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives

Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams

Drive transformation towards private cloud environments and modern IT infrastructure

Establish structured program governance, planning, execution, and monitoring frameworks

Ensure delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations

Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies

Monitor program performance and provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders

Facilitate collaboration between IT operations and business functions

Take ownership of decision-making and ensure successful program outcomes

Required Experience & Competency Level:

Expert-level (Competency Level 4) with:

Extensive experience (typically 9-12+ years) in program/project management

Proven track record in delivering complex, high-quality consulting assignments

Strong leadership experience managing large teams and stakeholders

High level of independence and accountability

Mandatory Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing data center programs involving multiple parallel sub-projects and coordination with multiple stakeholders and suppliers

• Demonstrated experience in leading data center transformation initiatives towards private cloud environments

• Strong experience working with PPS or comparable project management methodologies

• Proven experience managing projects within large public sector organizations

• Experience in project management beyond data center-related initiatives

• Ability to transform raw data into validated, high-quality statistics to support decision-making, research, and analysis

Preferred Competencies:

Strong understanding of IT operations and infrastructure environments

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage complex and time-critical situations effectively

Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive approach

Strong interpersonal skills with adaptability across diverse environments

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Language Requirements:

Swedish - Professional proficiency (mandatory)

English - Professional proficiency
