Summary of Department Focus
The EAS-Pega practice is a horizontal department within Cognizant that specializes in delivering the most complex projects that require Pega skills in challenging and dynamic project environments. EAS-Pega main areas of expertise are consulting, architecture, development, business analysis and project management.
EAS-Pega achieves this through its potent blend of attributes - deep technology and architecture capability, top-notch program management team with experience of deliver large scale and complex enterprise-level solutions, next-generation delivery processes and expertise in Pega technology tools - to combat complexity in clients' IT environments in a range of industries. IPM continues to deliver in complex business and IT scenarios and continues to create a stronghold in its position in Cognizant operating model.
As we are currently strengthening our European operations, we are looking to leverage our thought leadership and delivery capabilities in the Stockholm region.
Job Description
As a Pega senior developer you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing, BPM/ CRM solutions using Pega platform. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects and other developers to ensure delivery of high quality, efficient and scalable pega applications.

Job Description
As a Pega senior developer you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing, BPM/ CRM solutions using Pega platform. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects and other developers to ensure delivery of high quality, efficient and scalable pega applications.
Required skills
- Minimum 5 + years of hands on experience with Pega.
- Strong expertise in Pega PRPC 8.x
- Strong experience with Case Management, workflows, integrations, UI in Pega.
- Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural, international environment.
Knowledge
- Experience on-site delivery model
- PEGA CSSA certification and application development methodologies
- Eperience with working in on-site delivery model and interacting with customers on a daily basis
- Excellent in English verbally as well as writing
- Swedish language skill is an advantage.
Experience
- Developing enterprise-class Pega applications.
- Experience in pega CRM frame work (Pega Customer Service, Pega Sales Automation, Pega Marketing (Customer Decision Hub)
- Strong knowledge on various Pega debugging tools
- Strong knowledge on performance tuning
- Strong knowledge on Integrations(Soap/REST)
- Software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment.
- Strong Object-Oriented design and implementation skills.
- Design and develop UI's using JavaScript, HTML and custom CSS Stylesheets.
- Experience in Agile Development Methodology, especially PegaSCRUM.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
