Senior .NET/C# Developer with Capital Markets Experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be joining an agile and highly supportive product development team that maintains and evolves the OneFactor back-office system, part of our capital markets offering. Your tasks will primarily involve programming in a .NET environment, working on both the development of new features and maintenance of existing systems.

You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, based on your strengths and interests-from refining business requirements to design, coding, code reviews, deployment pipeline automation, test script development, troubleshooting, documentation, and implementation.

You will also actively participate in our agile development process, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and client meetings when relevant.

Your position will be based in our Helsinki Office.

Senior .NET/C# Developer (Capital Markets Focus)

Technical Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on .NET/C# technologies.
• Proven expertise in Dynamics 365 CRM, particularly in plugin and workflow development is preferable,
• Experience with source control systems such as Git, including branch-based workflows (e.g., GitFlow).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient code, following SOLID principles and modern software engineering practices.

Domain Knowledge

• Solid understanding of the capital markets domain (e.g., asset management, fund trading, clearing & settlement) is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in financial system integration or regulatory compliance domains (MiFID II, DORA, AML, etc.) is an advantage.

Development Methodology & Tools

• Deep familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern DevOps tooling is beneficial.

Soft Skills & Collaboration

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues across application layers.
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to collaborate in distributed teams. Proficiency in Finnish or Swedish is considered a plus.
• A proactive and structured work style: you take initiative, communicate clearly, and thrive in team environments.
