Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Design mechanical solutions based on defined prerequisites such as function, geometry, volume, cost, quality targets and regulatory requirements.

Lead and support mechanical design engineering activities within your technical area.

Play an active role in project deliveries, integrating inputs from multiple contributors and ensuring quality and release readiness.

Ensure designs meet business objectives, performance targets and technical requirements.

Provide technical input to product and system roadmaps and contribute to future capability planning.

Collaborate with universities and external institutes to strengthen knowledge and innovation in your domain.

Participate in business development and drive innovation activities related to mechanical design.

Build strong networks across the organization and contribute expertise based on component history and system understanding.

Lead complex tasks and projects while actively supporting, coaching and developing team members.

Serve as a role model for technical excellence, continuous learning and advanced engineering practices within the organization.

What you bring:

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering or technical design.

Deep expertise in mechanical design methodologies, tools and product development processes.

Proven ability to lead complex engineering tasks, projects and cross-functional collaborations.

Strong T-shaped profile with broad technical understanding and specialist-level knowledge in your area.

Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment within a global engineering organization.

Experience contributing to innovation, research collaboration and long-term technical development.

Strong communication, mentoring and coaching skills, with the ability to support and uplift other engineers.

Clear understanding of how your work contributes value to the broader business and technology development organization.
