Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Development Engineer - Piping & Systems Design to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Design pipe systems and produce manufacturing data in NX, including all required technical documentation.

Contribute to development and maintenance activities related to product standards, technical solutions, and functional requirements, ensuring cost-effective and quality-assured outcomes.

Collaborate with procurement and sub-suppliers to develop robust technical solutions, resolve generic issues, perform root-cause analyses, and finalize or update documentation.

Handle installation-related questions within order projects using the 3D tool NX.

Work with the project team to ensure design activities are completed according to schedule.

Create, review, and update investigations and documentation within your technical domain.

Build and maintain a broad network across the organization, collaborating closely with customer order and sales departments within your technical area.

What you bring:

MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge/experience.

Solid understanding of norms and standards relevant to process and mechanical engineering, including PED and ASME.

Experience in pipe design and piping stress calculations (meritorious).

Experience in system design and P&ID.

Strong communication skills in both English and Swedish.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural environment with frequent challenges.

Strong technical interest, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

Excellent teamwork abilities combined with a structured, proactive approach.

Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to take initiative, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality work
