Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Contribute to the development of next-generation products in collaboration with a small, cross-functional team that includes mechanical designers, electronics engineers, industrial designers, and subcontractors.

Drive mechanical design tasks independently, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet functional, cosmetic, and manufacturability requirements.

Design components and assemblies with a strong focus on injection-molded plastic and associated cosmetic standards.

Create, update, and maintain 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks.

Collaborate closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure design intent, feasibility, and production readiness.

Communicate effectively across disciplines to ensure smooth development cycles and resolve design challenges.

What you bring:

Strong experience as a mechanical designer with expertise in injection-molded plastic parts, including designs with cosmetic requirements.

Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and technical documentation.

Ability to work independently, take ownership of design tasks, and drive work forward.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners

Fluent in English and Swedish.
