Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and work with the development of advanced jet engine subsystems.

What you will work on:

Design and development of subsystems for advanced jet engines

Mechanical design of components and structures using materials such as high-strength steel, aluminum, composites, and additive manufacturing (AM) technologies

New development as well as improvement of existing design solutions

Close collaboration with production, testing, and other engineering disciplines

Design of load-bearing structures, installation components, and integration of electronic components

Creation of technical documentation including drawings, 3D models, specifications, and installation documentation

Active participation in project work and technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders

Opportunity to grow into roles such as technical specialist, team lead, or more strategic coordination roles

What you bring:

Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum 5 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer

Strong experience working in CAD environments

Experience with Siemens NX and PLM systems such as Teamcenter / Active Workspace is an advantage

Knowledge of lightweight design using high-strength materials or composites is a plus

Experience with design for additive manufacturing (AM / 3D printing) is a merit

Strong understanding of product definition using 2D drawings and/or 3D models (MBD)

Previous experience in a technical leadership or team lead role is an advantage

Strong communication and collaboration skills
