Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Oil and Cooling Systems to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Design and develop components within the oil and cooling system area, ensuring high performance and quality standards.

Create and deliver 3D models and 2D drawings in Catia V5 for purchasing and suppliers.

Plan, maintain, and follow up on assigned components, including developing and updating verification plans.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, purchasing, aftermarket, and subcontractors to ensure smooth development and implementation.

Participate in concept generation, CFD-based design evaluations, and testing to validate design solutions.

Work in both Swedish and English, contributing to documentation and communication in both languages.

Optionally (if Scrum Master role is included, approx. 50%):

Work closely with the Product Owner to facilitate team planning, prioritization, and delivery.

Lead team ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives).

Act as the team's cross-functional spokesperson toward purchasing, production, and aftermarket.

Visualize schedules, ensure transparency, identify dependencies, and remove obstacles in the delivery flow.

What you bring:

University or civil engineering degree, with several years of experience in design and product development.

Strong knowledge of Catia V5 (3D and 2D).

Experience working in both Swedish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Open, collaborative, and proactive mindset with a structured and creative approach to problem-solving.

Proven ability to take responsibility and deliver within complex technical projects.

Experience from R&D is a strong advantage.

Familiarity with CFD analysis, testing, and agile methodologies is beneficial.
