About the Assignment
You will join an IT team supporting industrial maintenance and shopfloor services in a global manufacturing environment. In this senior role, you will take a leading position in the continued development and incident management of the Maximo platform, working closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and suppliers.
The assignment combines hands-on technical work with team leadership, giving you the opportunity to influence solution design, improve system quality, and support business-critical maintenance processes.
Job DescriptionLead and mentor the developer team working with Maximo.
Collaborate with production units and the Product Owner to understand needs and priorities.
Support the business in describing incidents and defining requirements for suppliers.
Assist the architect with detailed technical design decisions.
Participate in development initiatives and ensure high-quality delivery.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and technical issues in Maximo.
Contribute to integrations between Maximo and external systems.
RequirementsStrong experience with IBM Maximo, preferably Maximo Application Suite (MAS) or Maximo Manage.
Experience configuring and customizing applications, objects, domains, and workflows in Maximo.
Good understanding of the Maximo Business Object (MBO) Framework.
Experience managing Security Groups, roles, and data restrictions.
Hands-on experience with Database Configuration and Object Structures.
Solid experience with the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
Experience integrating Maximo with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP web services, and messaging platforms.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve both functional and technical Maximo issues.
Proven ability to lead, guide, and mentor development teams.
Fluent English.
Nice to haveExperience with Kafka or other event-streaming platforms.
Familiarity with middleware solutions such as ESB and API gateways.
Experience designing and delivering enterprise-level integrations.
