LuunaX is seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer to join our forward-thinking team and play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing solutions for embedded automotive systems. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects that blend embedded development, test automation, and CI/CD integration.

As an Embedded Software Engineer/Python Developer, you will play a key role in delivering innovative, robust, and scalable solutions. You will collaborate with both internal teams and client IT/business teams across all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and testing. You will contribute to developing new applications, enhancing existing systems, and participating in solution design for new services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Python-based test automation framework, ensuring robust and scalable testing solutions.

Create and optimize test scripts for embedded automotive systems.

Integrate automated tests with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments.

Support test infrastructure and tooling improvements for enhanced efficiency.

Collaborate with embedded software teams to design and implement effective test strategies.

Maintain comprehensive test documentation and advocate for best practices in test automation.

Must-Have Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in with Python programming

Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework).

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and integration workflows.

Proficiency with version control systems (Git).

Basic understanding of embedded systems and their development lifecycle.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with automotive testing tools (Vector CANalyzer, Lauterbach)

Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)

Understanding of AUTOSAR and ISO26262

Experience with Jira and agile methodologies

Background in C programming

Scripting and automation experience in Linux

Understanding of electronics
