Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer - Wiring Harness Design to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Design and develop technical solutions according to project prerequisites, including system design and installation requirements.

Lead and support component installation and media routing activities within Volvo buses.

Create and document design solutions for wiring harness systems using KOLA and CATIA.

Develop new design concepts and document them in KAP while building detailed layouts in CATIA.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical input and ensuring alignment with platform development standards.

Perform analytical and precision-based work, including Product Information Lifecycle (PIL) tasks and project-specific adjustments.

What you bring:

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or equivalent experience.

Proven expertise in Saber (2D wiring design) - mandatory requirement.

Strong proficiency in CATIA V5 for electrical routing and packaging design.

Demonstrated experience with Volvo AB systems and development processes (e.g., KOLA).

High level of attention to detail, commitment, and analytical thinking.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to take initiative and lead tasks or projects.

Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
